Famous Nigerian singer and activist, Folarin Falana, otherwise known as Falz, has recently undergone knee surgery in the UK.
The ‘Bop Daddy’ star disclosed this in a video posted on his Instagram page on Wednesday evening, May 10, 2023.
According to him, he sustained a knee injury while playing football in November 2022, and after consultation, he was informed that he needed to undergo knee surgery.
He further revealed that he flew to the UK where the surgery was successfully performed on him.
Taking to his Instagram page, he shared a video of himself in the hospital and gave a detailed account of his pre and post-surgery experience.
“On the 23rd, I went to play football, and I sustained a knee injury. And it’s pretty serious. On November 30th, 2022, I tore my ACL. My MRI came back, and it showed that there is a complete tear on my ACL. I have been advised to go into surgery to fix it,” >he narrated.
In the video, Falz also asked for prayers from his fans, colleagues, and well-wishers, as he embarks on the journey to full recovery.
“Current situation. It’s a whole journey to being 100% back. Say a prayer for me,” he added.
