Another wonderful and amazing album coming from DJ Uncle Waffles titled Solace EP
Enticing and exciting Nigerian popular disc jockey and serial hit-maker, Uncle Waffles has released her highly anticipated project, “Solace” EP.
The project, “Solace” EP is a captivating venture into the realm of Amapiano music, offering a unique and refreshing take on this popular South African genre. This collection of tracks within the EP showcases Uncle Waffles’ mastery of Amapiano’s distinctive beats and rhythms, while also infusing their artistic flair and interpretation.
Drawing inspiration from the vibrant and infectious sounds of Amapiano, “Solace” immerses listeners in a rhythmic tapestry that blends elements of piano melodies, groovy basslines, and rhythmic percussion. The EP’s title, “Solace,” suggests a journey of musical refuge, and Uncle Waffles succeeds in creating an atmosphere that is both soothing and invigorating.

Finally, the project featured her recently released song, “Echoes” featuring Tony Duardo, Manana, and Lusanda. The project serves as a follow-up to her previous album, “Asylum,” released in March.
